The horse's first win came at Ayr on 13 July, and it struck again just over a week later at Doncaster on 1 August — a quick double that suggested something was clicking. That Doncaster win was seven weeks ago, though, which is a notable gap for a young horse still building its record. The sixteenth-place finish that appears in the recent form is a reminder that jumps from one level to another, or races that simply don't suit, can happen. Still, when a two-year-old is winning two races inside a week and hitting the ground running this way, there is genuine talent on show. Everything depends now on whether Bethell can keep that form ticking over.
