Wedding
There are horses that make you wonder, and then there are horses that make you patient. Wedding is very much in the second category right now. The three-year-old has run three times without managing a win or even a place finish, coming home seventh, sixth, and fifth in that order — which, if nothing else, tells a story of gradual improvement. It hasn't translated into prize money yet, but the direction of travel is at least pointing the right way.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
What makes Wedding worth watching is the company it keeps. This is a horse trained by Aidan P O'Brien at Cashel in County Tipperary, one of the most celebrated yards in world racing. O'Brien's team has sent out 144 winners already this season — a number that puts the operation in a different class entirely. When a trainer is operating at that kind of volume and quality, horses in the stable that haven't yet won aren't necessarily lost causes. Sometimes they're just waiting for the right moment, the right race, or simply more time to develop.
Wedding raced just yesterday, so wherever this horse goes next, it won't be long. Three races into a career with improvement showing each time and a powerful team behind it — the story isn't written yet.
