Wannabe Sporty is a 4-year-old trained by
Martin Keighley at Luckley in Gloucestershire. The horse has run once so far, finishing seventh, and has yet to find the winner's circle. Keighley's yard has been in good form this season with 19 winners to its name, so there is clearly expertise in the stable. With only one race under its belt, Wannabe Sporty is still very much learning the game — plenty of horses need several runs before they settle and show what they can do. Having raced just a day ago, the horse will be back in training now, and whether it steps out again soon or takes time to develop remains to be seen.
