Walking On Stars

The recent form shows steady improvement. After finishing fifth and fourth in its opening two races, Walking On Stars has picked up a second-place finish, followed by another second last time out, and then finally got the job done at Ripon. This kind of pattern—close calls followed by a breakthrough—is how young horses often develop. It is trained by Sir Mark Prescott, one of Britain's most respected horsemen, whose Newmarket yard has already sent out 47 winners this season, so the horse is in excellent hands. With that first win now in the bank and still very much in active racing, Walking On Stars looks like one that could be ready to win again sooner rather than later.
