She raced just yesterday, so she is very much in the thick of her season, and there will be time to turn things around. At this stage of a young horse's career, simply learning how to race and improving with each run is often the whole point — a win can come quickly once things click.

She is trained by Michael Blake, who operates out of Trowbridge in Wiltshire. It is a small yard in terms of firepower this season, with just two winners sent out so far, meaning Viennetta will need to do her bit if the team is going to build on that tally. For a stable of modest size, every winner matters, and a horse showing gradual improvement is at least pointing in the right direction.
