Viennetta is a three-year-old still searching for a breakthrough. The horse has run four times without a win or a place finish, with recent results of 8th, 10th, 7th, and 5th — a pattern that shows some inconsistency but enough promise in that latest fifth-place finish to suggest there is something to work with. Trained by
Michael Blake at Trowbridge in Wiltshire, Viennetta is part of a yard that has found the winner's circle four times already this season, so there is real form among the team. Still active after racing just yesterday, the horse remains in the mix and has time on its side at three years old. The next opportunity will tell whether this is a horse beginning to find its feet or one that will need considerably more time to develop.
