Victorian Rose has yet to trouble the scoreboard in four outings, finishing eighth most recently a day ago. The three-year-old, trained by
Mike Murphy at Westoning in Bedfordshire, has shown modest improvement in form over its last four races, moving from twelfth place twice to eleventh and then eighth, suggesting the horse may be beginning to find its feet. Murphy's yard has had a productive season with 15 winners, so there is experience in the stable to work with, though Victorian Rose remains a work in progress. Still active and racing regularly, the horse will need to convert that improving trend into a first win to justify the investment in its racing career.
