Vargas
Vargas is a five-year-old still searching for a breakthrough. The horse has raced three times without success, finishing fifth in its most recent outing just yesterday and sixth the time before that. With no wins or places to its name, Vargas has yet to find the form needed to trouble the judge, though the pattern of recent runs—dropping from sixth to fifth—suggests some improvement creeping in.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
The horse runs for Gordon Elliott's Longwood yard in County Meath, one of the most successful operations in Irish racing. Elliott's team has already sent out 210 winners this season, so Vargas is training among the best. Whether the horse can turn that quality coaching into a first win remains to be seen, but it remains active and will get more chances to prove itself.
