Brown's yard has sent out one winner this season — a quiet campaign so far — and getting this particular horse into the winner's enclosure would clearly require a step forward from anything it has shown to date. Three of its six runs returned no recorded finishing position at all, which usually means the horse either fell, was pulled up, or did not complete the course — not a pattern that inspires confidence, but also one that can change quickly when things click.

What keeps the story worth watching is simply that the horse is active and young enough for things to improve. At five, there is still time.
