United Authority has run four times and is still looking for that first win. The 2-year-old has managed one second-place finish from four races, most recently finishing fifth just a day ago. Before that came another fifth, then the placing, then a fifth on debut. It is early days for any young horse, and the fact that the trainer,
Ralph Beckett, runs a yard that has already sent out 107 winners this season suggests there is genuine racing quality in Kimpton — so there may yet be more to come from this one.
