Under Cover
Six races, zero wins, and a single placing — that is the entirety of what Under Cover has produced across its career so far, and the numbers do not make for comfortable reading.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
What stands out is not just the absence of wins but the direction of travel. The form figures read 5-6-7-8-7 going back through recent races, and there is no obvious upward curve there — if anything, the eighth-place finish sits in the middle of that run like a low point the horse has been circling around. Racing just one day ago, Under Cover remains active and has not been put away for the season, which at least suggests those around the horse see reasons to keep trying.
The trainer is Anthony McCann, based at Castleblaney in County Monaghan, and the yard has sent out 7 winners this season — which shows McCann can get horses to win races. The question is whether Under Cover can become one of them. With no win from 6 career attempts, this is a horse still searching for its moment, and patience from everyone involved is clearly being tested.
