Tyrrhenus

Tyrrhenus is a six-year-old without a winner to his name, having finished outside the top three in both of his races so far. His most recent outing came just a day ago, when he finished sixth, following an earlier eighth-place finish. The horse races for Dan Skelton's powerful Alcester yard, which has already sent out 198 winners this season — a testament to the trainer's quality, even if this particular horse hasn't yet found his feet on the track. With no breakthrough yet and limited racing experience, Tyrrhenus remains a work in progress in one of Britain's most successful training operations.
