Tropical Sands
Tropical Sands is three years old and still hunting for a breakthrough win. The horse has raced four times without finding the winner's circle, though it has shown promise with two placed finishes — coming second once and third twice. Most recently, it finished fifth just a day ago, which suggests the yard is keeping it busy and actively looking for the right spot.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Ed Walker's Upper Lambourn yard is a serious operation, having sent out 76 winners this season alone, so there's clearly confidence in Tropical Sands' potential. For a young horse still learning the game, two placings from four races is decent foundation work. The key now will be finding a race where everything clicks — a course that suits, a distance that plays to its strengths, and a day when form and luck align. Plenty of decent horses take several attempts before recording their first win, so there's no cause for concern yet.
