The recent form figures tell a consistent story, just not the one the yard — the team — would be hoping for. Finishing 8th, 7th, 11th, and most recently 7th, Trixaboutmaisie has yet to threaten the front of a race, let alone win one. Four runs in and the horse has not managed to place, which means no wins and no top-three finishes to speak of. That kind of record suggests either the right race is still being searched for, or improvement is needed before things click into place.
Colin Bowe's yard has sent out two winners so far this season, so there is form in the stable — Trixaboutmaisie just has not been part of it yet. The horse raced as recently as yesterday, which at least shows the team believes there is more to come and is willing to keep giving chances. Whether that faith pays off remains to be seen.
