Tribal

Trained by Norman Lee out of Gort in County Galway, Tribal is part of a yard that has managed just one winner this season, so there is no great wave of momentum to carry the horse forward. Lee's operation is a small one, and Tribal has not yet done anything to suggest a turnaround is close. With a win rate of zero from four attempts, the horse is still waiting for that first breakthrough moment.

Having raced just one day ago, Tribal is clearly still in active training and presumably still being aimed at the right opportunity. At four years old, there is time — but the pattern so far gives little cause for optimism. Unless something changes significantly, either in preparation or in the level of company, it is hard to see where the improvement is going to come from.
