The horse hasn't won since June, which is a three-month gap, but the recent run suggests patience is being rewarded: two places in the last three outings means he's competing at the right level, if not quite winning again yet. At three years old, Tip Foster is still young enough for improvement, and a horse that places regularly while searching for its second win is often one worth watching.
