Tramore is a tight, undulating track on the south coast of Ireland that rewards horses who are relaxed and adaptable — it is not a track where every horse takes to naturally. Timandi clearly did. Coming into that race, his last six results read 14th, 12th, 9th, and 4th in sequence, which is the kind of run that tests everyone's patience. Then came a second place, then the win.
