Tickle The Cat

Kevin Thomas Coleman, who trains at Carrick-on-Suir in County Tipperary, has saddled the horse through all of this. Coleman's yard has been in decent form this season with eight winners already, so there is clearly competence there, but Tickle The Cat hasn't yet been the one to benefit from it. Looking at the recent form — finishes of ninth, twelfth, seventh, eleventh, and eighth — there is nothing here to suggest a sudden turnaround is imminent. The horse was last out just a day ago, which means it is racing regularly and still being given chances to break through. That consistency of effort from the yard is worth noting, even if the results aren't there yet. For a horse this young with no wins on the board, the real question is whether those racing plans will continue or whether a change of approach is coming.
