Thornbury Queen

Thornbury Queen is a 6-year-old horse currently in training with M O Quigley at Portlaoise in County Laois. The horse made its debut just a day ago and finished outside the places, a reminder that even at an advanced age, a horse's first race can be a learning experience. With only that single outing on record, there is very little form to assess, but the horse remains actively campaigned by the yard and is available to run again soon. Quigley's stable has sent out a winner this season, suggesting the trainer has horses capable of competing competitively, so Thornbury Queen may yet improve on its opening effort as it gains more experience on the track.
