Thelymitra
Thelymitra is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the track. The horse has run five times without a win or place to its name, and its recent form shows no clear pattern of improvement — finishing sixth, sixth, eleventh, eighth, and sixth in its last five outings. That's a stretch of racing with nothing to show for it, and at this early stage of a young horse's career, that kind of blank run can feel like a long time.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien at Owning Hill in County Kilkenny, Thelymitra is part of a yard that has been firing on all cylinders this season, sending out 160 winners. That's a serious operation, which means the horse is getting every chance to succeed. Still, sometimes it just takes a horse longer to get the message, or to find a race where things click. Thelymitra was last out just a day ago, so the yard are keeping the horse active and looking for that breakthrough moment. Whether it comes soon, or whether this horse needs more time to mature, only time will tell.
