The Bosses Order

The Bosses Order is a 4-year-old still searching for a breakthrough after two races without a top-3 finish. The horse finished sixth most recently, then fifth before that, suggesting the step up in competition or distance hasn't yet clicked. At this early stage in a racing career, form like this is not uncommon — plenty of horses take several attempts to find their level or settle into racing. The Bosses Order raced just yesterday, so the yard are clearly keen to keep the horse active and racing regularly, which is often the quickest way to build experience and improvement. What comes next will tell us whether this is simply a matter of time, or whether the horse needs a different approach — a change in distance, ground conditions, or race type.
