The Aussie Warbler

The Aussie Warbler is a 4-year-old making his first racecourse appearance, which is unusual timing — most horses run for the first time at two or three. He's by Australia out of a Fastnet Rock mare, which on paper suggests decent bloodlines: both sires have produced winners at serious levels. Beyond that, there's nothing to go on. No previous races, no form to parse, no pattern of how he handles pressure or a crowd. He'll either take to racing naturally or he won't. That's the only honest assessment before the gates open.
