Tarmonbarry Kid

The Fahey yard, based at Musley Bank in North Yorkshire, has been in fine form this season with 23 winners already saddled, and Tarmonbarry Kid sits among the yard's active team. Its first career win came at Doncaster in May, and the fact that it returned to the winners' circle at Beverley last month shows it is not a one-hit wonder. The recent form line — a third-place finish followed by a win, then a third, another win, and a couple of races further back — reads like a horse that turns up on the right day, with some races where it has run into stiffer opposition or simply not quite had the conditions to suit. Only raced a day ago, it is clearly still very much in work and being campaigned actively by the yard who believe there is more to come.
