She broke through in her breakthrough race at Carlisle on 9 June, and that win came early enough in the season to matter. Since then, things have been tighter — her last three runs show a second place, then a win, then a sixth. That most recent sixth, just yesterday, suggests she's up against stiffer competition now, which is normal as a young horse steps up. But she's still placed in two of her three races, which shows there's real ability here. She's trained by Charlie Fellowes at Newmarket, a yard that's already sent out 21 winners this season, so she's in a place where young horses are turned out ready to run.
The encouraging thing is that she's active and racing regularly — there's no long layoff, no mystery.
