Recent form has been mixed. Boultbee-Brooks, based at Woolhope in Herefordshire, is an active trainer who has sent out nine winners this season, so the stable is capable — but Sweet Honey B simply hasn't been the one to deliver for him.

Sweet Honey B's placings suggest the horse has enough in the tank to stay competitive, to run close, but not quite enough to seal the deal. After eight races, the pattern is set. This is a horse who may occasionally threaten to place again, but a maiden win at this stage would be a genuine surprise.
