Strong Man Tom
Strong Man Tom is a 4-year-old that has yet to break through in six career races, with a recent run of unplaced finishes suggesting the horse is still searching for its level. The horse finished ninth on its most recent outing just a day ago, and has now gone six races without a place — a frustrating streak for any the yard.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Barry John Murphy at Caerfyrddin in Carmarthenshire, Strong Man Tom races from a modest yard that has managed two winners this season. For a horse with no wins and no places from six attempts, the focus will be on finding a race at the right level and perhaps a change in tactics. The immediate challenge is straightforward: the horse needs to get competitive again soon, or questions will start being asked about whether this is simply a horse that races for the love of it rather than for the prize money.
