Stormy Dawn is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the track. The horse has run three times without breaking through to the winner's enclosure yet, finishing out of the places in each start. The most recent race came just a day ago, and there are no signs the yard is backing away—Stormy Dawn remains actively campaigned. Trainer
P A Fahy, based in Leighlinbridge in County Carlow, has had a decent season overall, with nine winners sent out from the yard, so there is clearly some form in the operation. For a young horse this early in its career, a run of three unsuccessful starts is hardly unusual or discouraging. Many horses take several races to settle and begin to fulfil their potential, and Stormy Dawn's continued racing schedule suggests the the yard believe better days are ahead.
