Jockey Dougie Costello has been aboard for seven of those eight races and is yet to find a way to get Stoneywell to the front. Seven rides together without a win is a run that will test any partnership's patience, though the consistency of the booking suggests the team around the horse still believes there is something to work with. Stoneywell raced just yesterday, so the yard are clearly keeping the horse busy and looking for an opportunity to break the duck.

Trainer Steph Hollinshead operates out of Upper Longdon in Staffordshire and has sent out seven winners already this season, which shows the yard is more than capable of getting horses to the winner's enclosure. The fact that Stoneywell hasn't been one of them yet isn't a reflection on the stable — it simply means this particular horse hasn't found its moment yet.
