Henry De Bromhead, operating out of Knockeen in County Waterford, has sent out 107 winners already this season — a remarkable output that marks him as one of the leading trainers in the game. When a yard is firing at that rate, horses within it tend to improve quickly, and a lightly raced 3-year-old with two runs to its name is very much at the beginning of its story. De Bromhead has a habit of placing horses patiently and getting them right before the big moments arrive.

Stellar View raced just one day ago, so it is as current as it gets. Two fifth-place finishes suggest it is learning the ropes rather than setting the world alight, but two races is a small sample — plenty of horses have looked unremarkable early and found their feet sharply once experience kicked in.
