Stellar Moment

Trained by John S O'Donoghue at the Curragh yard in Co Kildare, Stellar Moment has the backing of a stable that has already sent out seven winners this season. The fact that the horse raced just a day ago and is still active suggests the team believes there is plenty more to come. For a three-year-old with only a handful of races under its belt, that single win at Galway has done what good wins do: it has given the horse something to build on, and the string of places either side suggest the form is solid. Stellar Moment is still very much a work in progress, but the recent trajectory — win, then competitive finishes — is exactly what you want to see in a young horse finding its way.
