The horse opened its account at Leicester back in July 2023, but its most recent victory came at Lingfield Park in October 2025 — and the current form figures of 3-3-9-1-6-1 paint a picture of a horse that has been consistently competitive. Two wins and two third-place finishes from six races is genuinely good recent form, even if that ninth-place finish sits a little awkwardly in the middle of it.

Where Spirit Of Breeze really comes alive is over seven furlongs to a mile — distances that sit in a sweet spot between a sprint and a proper staying test. At those trips, the horse has won 2 from 6 races, a win rate of 33%, or roughly 1 in every 3. That is a notably better return than its overall record and suggests the horse has a definite preference worth knowing about. Most of its racing has come at Class 5 level — the bread-and-butter end of British racing — where it has won 1 from 8, or about 1 in every 8 races at that grade.

Behind the horse is the yard of Gary and Josh Moore, based at Lower Beeding in West Sussex, and they have been in excellent form this season — 99 winners is a serious tally that marks them out as one of the more productive operations in British racing right now. A team sending out that volume of winners clearly knows how to place their horses well, and with Spirit Of Breeze having raced just one day ago and still very much in active training, there will be more chapters to come. The question is whether the horse can find another win before the season turns.
