Spanish Darling

Worcester is where Spanish Darling does its real work. At that track alone, it has won 2 of the 3 races it has contested there, and it won most recently just this week, on 7 October. The first victory came on 10 September — also at Worcester. This is not coincidence. Some horses find one track that suits them and perform differently there, and Spanish Darling appears to be exactly that sort of animal. Trainer Alex Hales, based at Edgcote in Oxfordshire, has found a specialist.
