Space Party

Racing for Henry Candy's Kingston Warren yard in Oxfordshire, Space Party ran just yesterday, which shows the trainer is actively campaigning the horse and finding regular opportunities. Candy's yard has produced eight winners already this season, a sign of steady competence. The pattern of Space Party's recent form — second, third, second, third — reveals a horse that turns up and tries hard but hasn't quite found the extra gear needed to break through. That consistency in the placings is a foundation to build on, and plenty of horses take several attempts before they click and start winning. Whether Space Party is one of those horses, time will tell, but there is nothing in its record so far to suggest the trainer has lost faith.
