Sophia Royale

Trained by Alan McIntyre at Clifden in Kilkenny, Sophia Royale is part of a yard that has sent out three winners this season. For a relatively small operation, that shows McIntyre is getting results, and the filly will be hoping to add her name to that tally soon. At two years old, she still has time and racing ahead of her—many horses at this stage are still learning what racing is about, and early form is not always a guide to future potential. With a placing in her recent record, there is enough promise to suggest that a first win may not be far away, though it has not happened yet.
