Soldier Saint

The recent form tells a familiar story: sixth, fourth, sixth, eighth, fourth, and fifth across the last six races. That's a pattern of mid-field finishes with occasional glimpses of competitive form — the two fourth-place results suggest Soldier Saint can be in the mix — but no breakthrough yet. At this stage of a career, horses either find improvement through a change of track, distance, or conditions, or they settle into their level as honest middle-distance runners who make up the backbone of racing without quite reaching the winners' enclosure. Paul W Flynn's yard has been in good form this season with 22 winners already, so the horse is at least in a yard with momentum and the experience to find the right race if one exists for it.
