Society Gent
Society Gent has raced twice without finding the winner's enclosure, finishing seventh on both occasions. The 4-year-old, trained by
Paul John Gilligan at Athenry in County Galway, is still seeking that breakthrough moment. Gilligan's yard has been productive this season, with five winners already saddled, so there is form in the stable. With just one day between races, Society Gent is being given frequent opportunities to break through — a sign the trainer believes the horse is close to delivering a winning run.
