That kind of record suggests Carroll knows how to get the best out of his horses, which is encouraging for Snow Day's future prospects. With the horse still active and having raced just a day ago, there is clearly a plan in place to keep finding the right opportunity. At three years old, there is still plenty of time for Snow Day to break through—plenty of young horses take several attempts before everything clicks into place. The question now is whether the recent downward trend in finishing positions will reverse, or whether the horse needs a change in distance, ground conditions, or race type to finally land that first win.
