Trained by Ross O'Sullivan out of Kilcullen in County Kildare, Slurricane is part of a yard that clearly knows what it is doing — 34 winners already this season is the kind of output that puts you firmly among the busier, more successful operations in Ireland. O'Sullivan has shown a consistent ability to place horses well, and Slurricane fits the profile of a horse whose record flatters to deceive slightly on paper but who earns its keep.
