Sizzling Affair
Sizzling Affair is a two-year-old that has made the most explosive start imaginable. The horse won on its debut at Haydock Park just days ago, a result that puts it among the tiny fraction of runners who get it right first time. With a perfect record of one win from one race, there is genuine potential here — though it is worth remembering that a single victory at this early stage, however impressive, tells only the beginning of the story.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
The horse is trained by K. R. Burke, who runs a powerful operation from Coverham in North Yorkshire. Burke's yard has already sent out 145 winners this season, so Sizzling Affair is in the hands of a trainer with serious form and the resources to develop young talent. That matters. A debut winner trained by someone at the top of their game, rather than a smaller outfit, tends to have better prospects for the future. The fact that Sizzling Affair is still active after winning just a week ago suggests the trainer has confidence enough to keep the momentum going — some horses are rested after a debut success, but Burke appears ready to run again soon. That speaks volumes about how the team sees this horse's potential. What happens next will be far more telling than this perfect first impression.
