Sindria

The real story is distance. Give Sindria a race between seven furlongs and a mile, and the horse comes alive. At that trip, Sindria has won two of four races — a 50% win rate that stands out sharply against the 30% career average. This is the distance where the horse runs best, and it matters. Trainer Joseph Patrick O'Brien, based at Owning Hill in County Kilkenny, clearly understands this. O'Brien's yard is firing on all cylinders this season with 160 winners already, and Sindria is part of that operation.

Recent form tells a mixed picture. In the last six races, Sindria has finished third, fifth, third, first, first, and fourth — so two wins in those six runs, with a couple of decent placed efforts alongside some underwhelming performances. The last win came at Gowran Park on 5 May, now four months in the past, which suggests the horse has been racing without success since then. That last outing, just a day ago, was a fourth-place finish, which is the kind of result that keeps a horse in work but doesn't move the needle. Still, with wins at both Leopardstown (first career victory on 12 June 2025) and Gowran Park, Sindria has already found the winner's circle twice at different courses and knows what it takes to win.
