Short Symphony

Short Symphony made its racing debut just over a week ago but hasn't found the winner's enclosure yet. The 3-year-old, trained by Laura Horsfall at Towcester in Northamptonshire, is still learning the ropes after that first outing. Horsfall's yard has been in decent form this season with five winners already, so the trainer clearly knows how to get horses ready for competition. As a young horse with only one race under its belt, Short Symphony has plenty of time to develop and improve. What happens next will tell us more about whether this horse has the makings of a consistent racer.
