Kelly describes him as a "slightly frustrating customer" — the kind of horse that makes you tear your hair out one week and punch the air the next. It's a familiar type in racing, talented but inconsistent, and the art is finding the right conditions to coax out the best of him. Kelly has identified fast, dry summer ground over six furlongs as the sweet spot, and the yard — which has sent out 14 winners already this season — clearly still believes in him.

Keenan has also noted that the horse tends to idle when he hits the front, which suggests there may genuinely be more in the tank than he lets on.
