Harry Sexton has been the regular partner in the saddle, riding Shing Shilla nine times without a single win between them. That is a long working relationship with nothing to show in the winners' column — though to be fair to both horse and rider, the raw material has not exactly been co-operating. The horse is trained by Adrian Sexton at a yard in Athy, Co Kildare, a team that has managed two winners so far this season. Shing Shilla has not been one of them, and on current evidence, a change in fortune would be a genuine surprise.
