What is worth noting is the yard behind her. James Tate, based in Newmarket, has sent out 51 winners already this season, which marks his operation as one of the more productive in British racing right now. Newmarket is the spiritual home of British flat racing, and trainers based there tend to have access to both quality horses and the kind of experience that helps young horses improve quickly. A single unplaced run means next to nothing when the horse is only two and the team around her clearly knows how to get horses winning.
She raced just one day ago, so there is almost nothing to go on yet. The honest summary is that She's Nice is a very young horse at the very start of her career, trained by someone who clearly knows what they are doing. The story is still to be written.
