Trained by Ciaran Murphy at Mullingar, Shadonagh is part of a yard that has already sent out 18 winners this season, so there's genuine form in the stable. Murphy's team clearly knows how to get horses to the winners' enclosure, which means there's reason to think Shadonagh could still turn things around. The horse raced just a day ago, so the yard are keeping it active and looking for the right opportunity. Sometimes a horse simply needs the right race, the right conditions, or a change of tactics to find its level — and with form improving through those last three runs, there's a thread of progress worth watching.
