The first career win came at Tipperary in July 2024, and the most recent at Leopardstown in March 2025 — two well-regarded Irish tracks, and a nice marker that the horse can perform on a decent stage. Leopardstown in particular is one of the most competitive venues in Ireland, so winning there is not something to brush past lightly. That said, it was 16 months ago now, and the recent form makes for harder reading: four finishes in the last six races show a fourth and a ninth as the visible results, with three blank returns in between. The horse raced just yesterday, so whatever the season holds, it is still very much in the thick of it.
Paul Nolan trains out of Enniscorthy in County Wexford, and his yard has sent out 25 winners already this season — a yard clearly in decent form. Nolan is known for patient handling of horses that need things to fall right for them, and a horse like Secrecies Of Stone, one that rewards the right ground conditions so sharply, fits that kind of approach well. The question now is whether another wet day arrives at the right moment. When it does, this horse has already shown — twice — exactly what it can do.
