Sean Og

Trained by Dianne Sayer at Hackthorpe in Cumbria, Sean Og has benefited from that regional connection—Cartmel is a natural target for northern yards. Most of his racing has been at Class 4 level, the everyday bread-and-butter tier where horses like this tend to spend their careers. He wins less than 1 in 8 races at that level, which puts him firmly in the middle of the pack: useful enough to race, not quite sharp enough to break out into better company. Henry Brooke is his regular jockey, having partnered him to 2 wins from 11 races together, a slightly better win rate of roughly 1 in 5 when they team up.

His recent form is the form of a horse still plugging away.
