It suggests a horse that genuinely needs time and space to find its stride, and when it gets that, it delivers. Many horses at this level never find a distance that suits them so clearly.

Scottish Dancer opened its account at Chester in May 2023, a tight, turning track that suits horses with a particular kind of athleticism, and most recently won at Thirsk seven weeks ago in early May 2026.
