Scorcher's Son has yet to break through in four outings so far, finishing unplaced in each race. The 4-year-old, trained by
Joseph Patrick O'Brien at Owning Hill in County Kilkenny, was last seen just a day ago, suggesting the yard is actively campaigning him. His most recent efforts show middling form — finishing tenth, sixth, sixth, and seventh in his last four races. It is early days for a horse still searching for a first win, and with O'Brien's yard in strong form this season (160 winners already), there is every chance the horse might yet find his level. For now, he remains a work in progress.
