What makes this one worth watching is the yard behind it. Trained by Mrs John Harrington out of Moone in County Kildare, Scandi Noir has serious support. The Harrington operation has sent out 53 winners already this season — that is not a yard that runs horses for the sake of it. When a team like this keeps running a young horse, they tend to know something the rest of us are still waiting to see.
The most recent run was just yesterday, finishing fourth, with that third-place effort coming before it. Two races in, still searching for that first win — but at two years old, with a powerful trainer in its corner, the chapter that matters probably has not started yet.
