Saxon Lodge is still learning the ropes at just two years old, having contested two races without yet finding the winner's enclosure. The horse finished fourth on its most recent outing a day ago, before that placing fifth in the race before.
James Horton, who trains from Newmarket, has yet to crack the code with this particular runner, though the yard as a whole has enjoyed a solid season with twenty winners to its name. With only two races under its belt, Saxon Lodge remains very much a work in progress, and there is plenty of time for fortunes to turn.
